Okay I know most of us on here are pretty computer savy, myself included, so I am looking for some help with something.
I am sure you have seen the Gaming News section of the main WGR page. This great live update feed comes from Gaming report (the best site for the latest industry news). Electric ocean also provided me with the same type of feed for mini news (though personal pro site related as opposed to industry).
What I would like to do is add similar content for mini gaming (thewarp.net) and boardgames (boardgamegeek.com). The problem is they don't have a javascript feed. They use RSS. I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate RSS into WGR and so far have not been able to figure it out. The only thing I have been able to figure out is that you need an RSS reader, but not how to imbed the feed into the HTML, or even how to call the reader once I have one.
I'm sure if I spent enough time on it I would figure it out, but I don't have the time or inclination to spend days researching this.
So, if there is anyone out there that can help me with this I would appreciate it.

Still working on this. I found a ton of info on RSS. It looks like 99% of 'agregators' require putting some CGI or PERL on the webserver where the page is stored. There is one issue with this. The WGR is hosted by MNSi which is a local service provided. Due to some paranoia on their part you are not allowed to host andy CGI, PSS, PERL etc on their server.
So I was looking for alternate options. I found a great javascript tag for including RSS in a webpage and it was amazing, but when I tried to generate the code for boardgamegeek I kept getting an error. I emailed the admin there but haven't heard back.
So overall still getting no where, but I better know what I want. I need a javascript script for displaying an RSS feed. This can be an agregator or a reader. I am going to look into the MNSi issue since that was quite some time ago when we first launched the Trading Post that we were told we can't use server side includes. They may have become more lax now.
