Speaking of driving tunes, you should burn some for the upcoming trip.
Some of my faves:
Slayer - War Ensemble The Hip - Blowing High Dough (those go together well:) Static X - Get to the Gone Ministry - Jesus built my hotrod (how could you forget that) Rob Zombie - Dragula NiN - Reptile The Ofspring - don't know why but it goes great in the car (memories of TO flashing back)

Static-X works well in general. As far as Offspring, not really familiar with anything that wasn't on "Smash", which is what we always listened to. The song "Bad Habit" may be the ultimate drivin tune come to think of it.

I look at those song lists, and think.. WOW Great selection.. then think.. WOW that'll be one F$%# of a speeding ticket.. *LOL* I've switched over to CBC FM and classical in the car now.. it makes me want to kill less of the idiots oon our roads...
You know that waiting period for buying guns... it's a GOOOOD idea...
