Okay just read this review on Gaming Report and it makes me want this game even more. This game is GMed just like the old Hero Quest or Advanced Heroquet. Based on the fun I had with those this one should be worth it. I liked this comment as well: "As one of my play-testers put it, this is a lot like a board game version of the video game “Diablo” or “Diablo II”. " And this sums it up well: "However, when it comes right down to it, this is an awesome game. I am happy to give Decent: Journeys In The Dark a very high recommendation. Why are you still reading this… go buy it!" Here is the full review: www.gamingreport.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=1848

Hmm.. perhaps we should develop a fun to weight ratio as an added tool for rating games..

Ha not a bad idea.
If I think back some of the best games did come with the most bits. Think Talisman and Space Hulk. Seems true of more recent games too. Catan is quite heavy for it's size and has quite a bit of bits, Puerto Rico, not overly heavy but tons of bits.
We may be onto something. Have to figure out if games with Pewter minis are better then ones with plastic.
