As suggested by Ghostwes it's about time we had another Pints and Pawns event. Plus it will be a bit of a going away night for one of our members as he's moving up to TO at the end of the month.
What I need to know is what day works best for the most people. Currently I'm looking at June 7th or June 28th, as we should be playing D&D every two weeks by then and our sessions are set up for Saturday nights. If everyone else is set on a different weekend I could cancel for a week or move the game, but would prefer not to.
So which date works best?

I'm leaving town on June 22nd, so the 7th would work best for me.

Well as I haven't heard from anyone else, I'll try to set the event for June 7th. Assuming I can book the upstairs with no problems that is the date we will go with. Still waiting to hear back from the Kildare on booking the night. Created a facebook event none the less (as I can always change the date): www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=13871473380

Reservations are official, Upstairs as usual. Heading out from Work right now, but sometime soon I will put the word out on LiveJournal, Immortal Realms etc.

Pimping done, calendar entry created and here is the event info for those who haven't attended one of our gatherings before:
The concept is to get together and have few drinks, play a few games and share conversation with people who share similar (board gaming, video games, miniatures, card games, etc) interests. This will be the 8th time we've had one of these GTs. In the past we've played Dalmuti, Fluxx, Ivanhoe, Bohnanza, Bang! and other easy to learn yet still fun and challenging multi-player games.
We will be meeting at the Kildare House, an Irish Pub style bar on the corner of Kildare and Wyandotte in the Olde Walkerville part of town (1880 Wyandotte St East). It's on the Crosstown 2 bus route for those of you who lack transport, plus it's on a major road so cab fair is usually reasonable.
The Kildare has a decent selection of pub style food and a good selection of imported beers including Killkenny, Guiness, Smithwicks, Mill Street, Walkerville and more. Non-alcoholic beverages are of course avaliable.
We will be on the SECOND FLOOR. Feel free to show up anytime from 8pm on. We should be there until close (2am) If you can think of a simple to teach group game, you don't mind playing on a bar table feel free to bring it!
