Welcome to the WGR.
My group is currently full, older then you are looking for and playing 3.5 but I thought I would write to welcome you and suggest you check out Hugin and Munin the best FLGS around. Many people put up posters looking for either players or groups plus the proprietors often know of groups looking for players. There is a D&D night hosted there I think on Tuesdays and starting up in January there is also the RPGA Living Forgotten Realms games (4e) that are hosted there every other Saturday. Again you can ask about that at the store, or PM WGR members fundinstrongarm or huginandmunin.
Good luck finding a group.

To add to what Gilvan said, check out Hugin&Munin's site here www.huginmunin.com/~huginmun/index.php?sid=e314393f7d8469a82e464b7e1b5973c3or their forum here www.huginmunin.com/phpbb2/index.phpincluding posting there. Starting up again in January, we'll be doing RPGA 4th edition Living Forgotten Realms games every other Saturday. There is probably room for 1 more for the 1pm session on those days and your age shouldn't be an issue. We already have 3 of 5 about 20 and younger. As for a regular group, my suggestion is to read the forums, both here and H&Ms and try to contact other people who have posted in the past. Also, don't forget to check back over the next 3 or 4 months to see if you've got responses. One thing I've heard is that people post but never check in often enough to see if they get responses. Anyways, good luck. (Now, if only I could find some older people to game with!!)

If you don't mind I would prefer to keep it. I like people to see that people do post here and have found groups.
