Join us for the release of Monster Manual 2 in May! While the format remains the same as the previous Game Day (PHBII March 21st), this time the monsters are the stars, showing off some of the bad guys your D&D party can expect to face from Monster Manual 2. One iconic D&D monster makes his return to the game through the 5th-level adventure Journey through the Silver Caves. Be one of the first to beat down some new baddies when you come to play in this event! Saturday May 23rd: Bring your friends and join other fans in the worldwide celebration of the launch of the Monster Manual 2 for Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition at Hugin & Munin. Dive into a 5th level adventure (should be easier on new players than March) with pregenerated characters. Characters include: Dwarf Paladin, Eladrin Wizard, Goliath Barbarian, Tiefling Warlord and Dragonborn Rogue. Everyone who takes a turn at the table will be to take home their Character Sheet and a D&D miniature of their pre-gen Character (while supplies last). Please come in or call and sign up or come on in this day and take your chances. Or, respond to this thread to let me know you are interested. The fun and games begin at 12:00 NOON. We are also looking for signups at 4pm. Come on out, roll some dice, have some fun!! Hugin & Munin 1664 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-974-7898 www.huginmunin.com

I'm still suprised they are doing three of these this year. When I heard about the one on the 21st I thought it was an annual thing.
Based on the event on the 21st I think this will be a good time. I like that it's only 5th level though, the level 11 abilities were a bit much for the non-4e experienced players last time.

I'm with you on both fronts. Last year's D&D Day was pretty successful so I guess they will try 3 this year. We'll see how it goes on that front.
As for character level, it's too bad March 21st wasn't level 5 too. Level 11 characters WAS a little much for first-timers.
