I realize it's late notice, but I only just found out about this myself. The Humanities Research Group is holding a booksale fundraiser today. I probably won't be able to make it, but maybe someone else can take advantage.
With material ranging from contemporary psychology to ancient history, early modern literature to popular fiction, reference works to Windsor history, there is no better place to shop for books than the Humanities Research Group booksale, this Thursday, 22 October 2009 from 12 noon to 7pm in the lobby of the Odette Building, at the corner of Wyandotte Street West and Sunset Avenue. We have a very wide range of books for sale, all of them cheap: hardcover = $1, softcover = $0.50.
Of course the University bookstore right next door always has great deals as well. Be sure to check all three floors. There are bins in the basement, tables set up through the centre of the main floor, and also some remainders mixed in on the regular shelves on the third floor.

Did anyone make it out to this?
Wondering what we missed out on.
