Hi everyone. I'm looking into possibly starting a convention for the Windsor area, and one of the main areas I'm looking into is gaming. Tabletop, electronic, what have you. However, before I get ahead of myself as far as planning goes, I need to know how feasible something like this would be. If you could take a minute and answer the question "Do want?" at the link at the bottom of my post, I'd appreciate it. spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dEVuWDNwME5ZRkNnT1FHMFNVYkZEekE6MAAgain, if you clicked the link and filled out the single question, thanks!

If you do decide to do this there are a few people you could probably recruit to run events.
I am a Herald Level DM for RPGA and could run a Living Forgotten Realms Event.
Lichmaster runs a local GW and Warmachine Club and has the ability to run sanctioned tournaments for both.
Huginandmunin (both the user and the store they own) would probably love to be a vendor and may be willing to provide prizes.
The Great Canadian Boardgame Blitz is considering doing a Pre-qualifier in Windsor, they may be willing to do two if there was a con in the area.

If you intend to run a convention like GenCon, youre gonna need several rooms to run the games plus an extra room for an exhibit hall.
Bootlegger Games would be there as well as H&M and GC would want to be there too! =)
I know Ian from H&M and Bernard from GC (Game City) would want to be there.
