A few people have expressed interest for a Sunday Event. As KofC is closed on Sundays, I was considering trying to put together a gaming session at the CAW on Sunday June 13th starting at 1pm and was wondering if there is enough interest?
In terms of food, the cafeteria is closed for the summer but there many food places nearby (Subway, Ali Baba's, Eros, 7-11, Pita Grill, Giglios). Also, the basement pub might be open. I am in the process of confirming this.
Venue will be the CAW Centre. Parking is free in most areas on Sunday.
cheers,
Knightsky

It would have to be that Sunday as the Sunday after is Father's Day. Right now, with Ashaman and including myself I have three confirmed. If we hit five or six I'm going to give it a green light.
Also, just confirmed that parking behind the CAW is free on Sunday.
cheers,
KnightSky.

I would be interested if I'm not work. Work is the reason I won't be planning a G&G event for June. Right now I'm expected to work every Saturday until July. In addition to that I have no clue what shift I will be on (for example I worked days today but return to work tomorrow for a Midnight shift).
If I'm not working I will be there.

Thanks to knightsky for organizing this event, it went rather well!
Took a bit to find some appropriate tables but then I think we had the perfect spot.
We started with 6 players but quickly gained more as the afternoon went on. I think we had a total of 9 by the end of the event which seems pretty good to me for a Sunday event.
Games played: Zombie Dice Ra Dungeon Lords Galaxy Trucker (With The Big Expansion) Le Havre PitchCar
Personally got to try two new games:
Le Havre - interesting but seemed too busy with 5 players, would like to try it with less. I think I would also prefer the full rules with the advanced buildings as it sounds like they really add a lot of the game.
PitchCar - I really liked this one and I didn't expect to. Think this one may go on my wish list, mainly as I have a great table for it and I think my Daughter may be old enough to enjoy this one as well.
