WTF!!!
The Windsor Gaming Society was a gaming club run out of the University of Windsor.
At one point that account had over 10K in it. The president at the time withdrew all of the money and took off. At that point the club crumbled for about a two years. Then someone (who happens to run a really cool local gaming forum) attempted to bring the club back. He found an old member list and called up a ton of the existing members. There was a big meeting.
At the meeting this account was discussed. There were two opinions, one was to split the money between the existing members, the second was to keep the money so as use it for it's intended purpose, sponsoring local gaming and supporting the yearly con Windsor Gamesfest.
The second option was the winner and the money stayed. The club went on but had multiple difficulties including Magic taking over the local gaming scene and getting totally screwed by the U in regards to having an actual room to play in. After spending about two years fumbling around trying to keep the WGS going the existing president gave up.
I never really even thought about what happened to that account. I would have no clue how to claim the money. It would be great to have access to it in order to use it for it's intended purpose: promoting local gaming events, paying for guest speakers, etc.

So... I guess you would need someone that was on the board (which I think we all were at one point or another) and close the account and take the moola and host a big blowout gaming con sometime! Screw the U we could have it anywhere. How about using the money to get WotC to do a D&D night somewhere in town and film it all for theor web commercials or something. Thats a cool idea, glad I thought of it!
