The Planes are in turmoil. The Material Plane as we know it is spinning away from the rest, leading to a war on Earth as demons and devils and undead begin to infest the continent in an effort to deny the Gods their power. Avatars of the Gods are being captured and pulled away, removing their anchoring influence on the world. The last bulwark for the world, the Church of Pelor, is split on how to handle this massive threat.
In amongst all of this, four adventurers will find their destiny. Tempted by evil and cought in a multi-sided intrigue, the cast of this shadow show must make decisions that could save the entire world... or plunge it into the widening gyre.
CAST:
Koltar - 4 Dwarf Cleric, NG - Koltar is a Cleric of Pelor. Originally entirely loyal to the heirarchy of the Church, he has found himself central to deciding how best to proceed to save the world and has found that the corruption within the Church of Pelor requires him to follow his own heart and make decisions for the good of the Planes. Koltar is a steadfast and honest individual, a beacon of light in a dread world.
Sono Vahor - 1 Halfling Rogue/3 Warlock, CN - Sono Vahor is a confidence trickster and gentleman thief who has unlocked eldritch powers, ostensibly through exposure to the portals. Vahor presents himself as the right hand of a shadowy underworld figure known as the 'Upright Man'. Vahor is a fast talking and friendly individual, but with the deaths of his family at the hands of demons and a mysterious halfling named M, he flitters at the edges of madness as the demons within and without try to offer him a trade - power to smite those who slayed his people... in exchange for his soul.
Max - 4 Human Wizard, CG - Max is the typical college student - absent-minded, booze-swigging, oh, and he can shoot fire out of his hands. He is a graduating student at the Sentifax Arcane College. Max is soft-spoken, yet he has become an increasingly vocal advocate regarding the racism in Sentifax against non-humans. His creative use of his spells have saved the party on several occasions.
Horc - 4 Half-Orc Fighter, CG - Horc was a member of the city guard that was met the party as they ran about, closing portals. Not much is known about this strong (and sometimes reckless) warrior, but he thrives in combat.
