Quickly: I would say a must read for any Jedi Player, just for the 'how to play section' other then that, too many characters not enough actual gameplay info.
Summary: you can kinda tell from the title. It's a book about Jedi, you know the good guys.
The Good: the initial section on how to play a Jedi is near invaluable. You have no idea that playing a Jedi is 'worse' then playing the perfect Paladin until you read this. The new gear, feats and skills are excellent and a welcome addition. The last section on Jedi sites was pretty cool too. Having new races is cool, but how many do you need?
The Bad: having new races is cool, but really, now many do you need? Seriously this adds like 20 new races. The art is very poor in this, I am pretty sure that most of it stems from the comics, and it makes me glad I didn't read them. This is a sourcebook, thus I didn't have it when I started my campaign, which means that putting in place the 'rules' of this book has proven troublesome. After reading this though, in the next campaign the Jedi will be much different.
The Ugly: too many Jedi. 90% of this book is the story and stats for famous Jedi. Famous Jedi from Dark Horse comics mainly. I personally haven't read a single Dark Horse Star Wars comic, and I even think that fans that have don't need stats for every damn character (actually I highly doubt it's all of them, it's probably not even 20% but it's still too many). Way too much space that could have been used on new abilities or roleplaying hints or adventures was wasted about telling you about this guy that died here while trying to rever that guy.
Overall: you know you almost have to buy this if you have Jedi in your game, but it would have been nice to cut half of the characters and replace them with some form of gaming 'meat' I still say everyone in your game that wants to roll up a Jedi should read the first chapter, most will change thier minds.
