Quickly: a very nice useful book for GMs of StarWars that actually has a ton of game content.
Summary: this is a book for GMs of the D20 Star Wars Revised RPG. It is devided in a few sections. The first is a selection of Villans, the second is a selection of creatures (like you would find in a monster manual). The third is a selection of Droids. The next is a bunch of new equipment (which are all items the Villans from previous are armed with). Last is a section of new rules.
The Good: there is actually a Ton of good gaming content here. Unlike the other books there isn't as much fluff, and a lot more rules. The book is well layed out and easy to find stuff, and the index is well done. The art is better then most Star Wars stuff I have seene, including pics of all of the creatures. Many of the creatures are reprints from the Ultimate Alien guide updated for the Revised rules (this could be a bad if you have the other book). The new rules included Aiming, which I have been looking for since we started playing. The actual Villans are rather cool and interesting and most are written to be used in any era. Rules are also included for creating villanous organizations and mercs. The section on Droid Manufacturers was a very welcome addition.
The Bad: Some of this stuff could have easily been in the original rulebook. There are a few too many villans and not enough creatures and droids. The villans are cool and all, but how many do you need. Unless you plan on running multiple campaigns I can't see using most of them.
The Ugly: you get this book full of a ton of cool monsters for your players to face but they are all from obscure worlds and there is often only one monster for a world. Also not all worlds are covered, and the only way to find out what world a mob is on is to read it's entry. I would have really liked a list of all the mobs by world. Now personally I just don't worry much about what world they are supposed to be on, if they seem cool I toss them in wherever we are, but I know purists would hate that.
Overall: I was very pleased with this sourcebook. Thus far out of the ones I have looked through this one had the most content that I will actually use at the table. The villans are cool, the creatures are cooler, and the droids and rules are nice additions.
