I suggest you read the review of X-men legends before you read the review for Fantastic Four.
Basically, Fantastic Four is the same game as X-men legends, with less effort involved. Instead of being four player, it's only two. Instead of having a good levelling up system where everyone gets their own experience, and gets points to level themselves up, it's a generic level up system where as a team, you get points, and you decide which one person deserves to level up. Instead of having smooth controls and graphics, it's a lot choppier.
The game itself is alright, if you're playing the 1 player version of it. If you're second player, you're occasionally stuck as a shitty robot or something that has no powers at all. The game itself is a decent representation of the fantastic four, but, it overall isn't that fun of a ride. It's pretty neat being The Thing and picking cars up off the street and using them as baseball bats though. That's pretty fun. Also, when you're the invisible woman and you become invisible, sometimes you can't even find yourself. That's also sorta neat. But... it's not that great of a game overall.
If you've got the money to burn, then rent it, but, don't buy it. If you're looking for a fun comic book hero video game, go with X-men Legends instead. At least they put effort into their game. Fantastic Four was rushed.. And it's obvious.
