Looking for some folks to review the latest & greatest project coming down our pipeline: the d20 MMO User's Manual, a guidebook for playing an MMO on the table top. The focus of this is to provide tips, hints, and alternate methods for tabletop play to resemble MMO play in the style and structure of the online titles. This includes some tweaking of d20 combat to allow for faster results & growth, tips and some fun new "features" to resemble online worlds, and a focus on 'player duality', allowing in-game character options as well as traditionally 'out of character' actions with the use of new player Prestige classes.
Anyone interested in reading something for this over?

Interesting idea, and rather amsuing as I think most MMOs are trying hard to be more like a traditional RPG. As long as the only way to get xp isn't killing rabbits and doing fetch quests I would like to check it out. As for actually playtesting something, I would need to get my players behind it as well before I agreed to anything.

The XP is going to be adventure dependant. Taking a cue from some old MUDs I used to play and a little bit of World of Warcraft, giving 100 point XP bonuses fairly generously for exploring, trying new things and the like. Some quests in well established areas are going to be "Kill, get gold & XP! Rinse & Repeat!" of course, but I hope to give enough material in the User Manual and subsequent books you can craft your own world, quests, and rewards. Also have an added layer of not only environment interaction but player interaction as well. Some "quests" won't even be system quests but may involve escoting lower level players across various areas, helping train newbies (whether you simply assist or power level is up to you).
Right now, I need a read through from some new eyes.

As mentioned, I will happily give it a read through, though I can't promise on how quick I would be.
