From gamingreport:
Fire Ruby Designs is pleased to announce the release of Wildfire, a 15mm science-fiction miniatures skirmish game. The rules cover small-scale infantry action using fire teams, groups of two to three combatants that are represented by a single base. Using a simple yet tactical counters-based game system, Wildfire lets
you create your own forces to re-enact battles from your favorite films but also includes a full setting for you to use. The game will be released as an 80-page coil-bound 6" x 9" book, as well as a pdf. But not quite yet ...
The first release of Wildfire is kind of an open playtest. The rules are complete and have been tested, but I'd like as much feedback on them as possible to make sure they're as good as they can be. So for the following two weeks or so the game will be available only as a pdf at a nominal price of £2, really just to cover the cost of the art. Please buy the game, have a play and let me know your comments and thoughts. After the two weeks is up, I'll take Wildfire down while I review everyone's comments and make any revisions that I think are needed. I'll then add a page thanking everyone by name who helped create the final release version (i.e. bough the initial pdf), and put the game back out as a pdf and a hardcopy coil-bound book. Everyone who bought the initial pdf release will then get a free pdf of the updated version.

You can buy the pdf from our shop and you can register and comment on the game on our forums — I'll need a PM on the forum with your name and email address if I'm going to include you in the acknowledgments!
There's no info on the website about Wildfire up at the moment, but we'll change that with the full release. You can take a look at a preview through the shop. Please drop by, and welcome to Wildfire!
