It's time to pull up another chair to the table.
Saturday 7/7/7 Lady Gwendolen Alice Tousignant joins this great game we call Life.
She is starting play as a Middle Class Human of 0-Level. She appears undecided on profession as of yet but has already shown quite a bit of proficiency as a 'businessman' (read Thief) in her aptitude of getting everything she wants from everyone around her with a minimum of personal effort and no cost to herself.
Based on her play thus far we are guessing that she is starting off with a Neutral Evil alignment, as she definitely only seems to think of her self. Her party if firmly set on shifting that alignment to wards Neutral Good, with a goal of Chaotic Good in the future and have already made efforts to that end.
As it's early in the game for her: we haven't discerned what skill sets or Feats she may posses. We have definitely seen some Charisma and Diplomacy skills used to great effect as well as a potentially magical charm person effect that seems to be an area affect spell that she eminates naturally. She either hasn't decided on a Starting Language, or speaks some odd Beast Tongue which has made communication difficult, though she seems to emote well enough to get by (perhaps ranks in Perform?).
As far as background, she will be joining play as the Daughter of Gilvan Blight (Maurice) and Pandora Green (Deanna) with the rest to be discovered during play.
All in all we strongly feel the game will be improved by the addition of this new player, and happily pull up another chair and welcome Gwendolen to the table!

Congratulations to both of you!
I kinda suspected as much, based on your unusual absence from the forum :-)
I like the triple-7s... that has to be a good omen or something. If I had a kid, it would be born on June 6, 2006, I'm sure. At least the naming part would be easy...

isnt there some kinda rule where the GM's chair has to be taller or higher than the rest? do they make high chairs 4 gms, your heads gonna be hitting the ceiling.
Anyway, only one word of advice as im sure your gonna be getting plenty from all kinds of people over the following years.
Either build a huge fence around or dome over top of that pool. Little kids and pools dont mix.Kids LOVE to throw things in pools, you name it books, statues, miniatures, keys and im sure board games. All those are fair play , in the giant game of will this float?
So unless you intend to become another victim in the vicious game of floating, guard your pool,, your orcs will thank you later.
Remember the words of the great philosopher Homer Simpson "Children are our future, UNLESS WE STOP THEM NOW!"
P.S.
Congrats guys

FYI: Gwendolen is now on Facebook, just search for Gwendolen Tousignant, or if you already have me as a friend, she's listed there.
I also set her up with a gmail account (mainly because I needed a new email address to sign her up for facebook), but I don't expect to check that very often so haven't bothered posting it anywhere.

Yeah the major change is that if you can exhaust your entire burnout gague in one go without ever letting up, it adutomattically re-fills and you get 2x the points, do it again and 3x etc. So what this basically means is driving faster and even more insane then the previous editions. I haven't played it much, just tried it out, found it for $15 at Rodgers (well actually it was $59, but they had a any 2 for $30 deal).
Anyroad, back on topic: would love to have you guys down any time. We no longer have the spare bedroom (converted to nursury) but we still have the sofa bed, and I'm sure Gwen wouldn't mind another body in the nursury with her.

We carry our own sleeping tent for Kyra now, it's a great dome thing that apparently you can't buy because too many dumb parents left their kids in it for hours and hours unattended and suffocated them. Stupid parents ruin all the fun for the responsible ones..

Speaking of which, anyone know where I can find a set of Lawn Darts? I couldn't belive the stuff they ban now due to SIDS. No bumpers in the crib, no blankets, no pillow, etc. Oddest parts is going in all the stores and seeing these delux cribs set up filled with crap you aren't supposed to use anymore.
