Thought this was interesting so figured I would pass on the word. C'thulhu website Yog-Sothoth is looking for copies of the earliest digital recordings of RPG play sessions. To quote them: "One of the things we're interested to find out is what's the earliest RPG (audio or video) game recording that (still) exists? They only started being put on the internet about five years ago, but we know people used to tape their games long before that. " If anyone has any info they ask that you post it on their forum here: www.yog-sothoth.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=13374

Heh, I wonder if they're willing to convert them from cassette tape. As an experiment a long long long time ago I taped one of homemade adventures for AD&D. Never did get around to editing it, wasn't the easiest thing to do with those old tape recorders.

I think that's exactly the kind of stuff they are looking for. No clue what they have set up to record/convert. I'd post something stating what you have and see what they say.
