Tuesday nights (at Hugin & Munin) I will be running a 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons Game. It will be held 2 weeks on and two weeks off. Our first session will be on Tuesday October 7th. First session will mostly be backgound and character creation. It will be set in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting with a few small modifications.
I have room for 5 people total with one sign up already so i'm looking for 4 more players.
People who are not currently playing in other games at Hugin & Munin will be given first chance to sign up.
This will be an ongoing Campaign and not RPGA.
If you want to play I have a few requirements.
1) Have your own Player's Handbook. You get a free pass on this for the first session, but its far to annoying having to pass around books. Also you need to be keeping up with what your character can do. I EXPECT players to be at least familiar with the PHB contents.
2) I strongly suggest the Player's Guide to Faerun (4th ed) although I it is not required. If you plan on using information out ot this book I highly reccomend you get it.
3) Dice! Have your own dice. Nobody likes it when other people touch their dice, so bring your own!
4) I like role playing. Some sessions will be combat light. If you can't handle this don't come.
Now there are a few character requirements.
1) Don't make "that character". You know that anti-social guy who just can't get along with anyone. Don't make the jerk who can't co-operate with others at all.
2)Alignment is resticted to Unaligned, Good or Lawful Good (although if you play lawful good expect some moral delema's that might be either fun or not so fun to play through).
3) Any race in a 4th edition players book is ok. Right now this includes Player's Handbook (4th ed) and the Player's Guide to Faerun (4th ed). You may not use races from ANY other source.
4) Any Class in a 4th edition players book is ok. Right now this includes Player's Handbook (4th ed) and the Player's Guide to Faerun (4th ed). You may not use classes from ANY other source. You may use addtional class details/information from other sources (eg: Dragon Mag) with DM (that's me) approval.
5) Give Your character background some thought. I like trying to work details or your background into the game. If you don't know the Forgotten Realms very much then I'll help you fit your character into the world. Detail is good so use some.
I realize that this is short notice but I'd like the first session to be Tuesday October 7th. Like I mentioned it will be mostly detailing characters etc.
So if you are interested PM (private message Me) or call me at the store ASAP (519-974-7898).
Ian.
