Well its certainly not your old D&D game but i found it quite fun. It had allot of feel of a card game in some respects but that isjust because you were limited to some special moves that had and could only use every so often.
Even though the game went WAY over the alloted time limit for play we did finish our 4 encounters. I was pleased at the way it worked out for the party. I liked how you could use some powers to compliment other powers between different party members.
I would have found it easier had I been playing the same toon since lvl 1 and gotten used to the powers. Jumping in at lvl 11 with many options (and most of them really good) kinda bogged down the play at first but I think things sped up significantly after we all got aquainted with what our chars could do.
I would for sure play again if/when our current 3.5 ed. ends if thats the direction we go.
What do the rest of you think? the party I played with that night and the party that played the same adventures the following day. What are your thoughts?

Don't think anyone from the party that played the second day is on here, wish they were as I had a great time GMing for them. One thing that really surprised me is that with a group of players who regularly play 4th edition, we finished the same module in only 3.5 hours, while our group of 3.5 players with only one player having any 4e XP took 8 hours. That's a huge difference. That really shows how much it helps to play a character up from first level and get introduced to the game slowly. To back this up even more: Fundin ran at another table and had players with no XP, dropped the skill challenge (roleplayed it instead), dropped the second encounter with the Mill Stone and still ran over at about 4 hours gametime. Personally I love combat in 4th edition, but like everything else better in 3.5. Maybe once our current characters retire I will give you guys a better look at 4e from 1st level up, or maybe we can start another round of 3.5 characters or move to another system. The one prejudice I have for running 4e next is I can run it as RPGA and get free DM stuff
