I guess this could have went in the General discussion but it's usually roleplayers who want funky dice. Need a D3, D7 or D9, here's where to find it: stores.ebay.com/Unconventional-Dice

I have played in a D&D game where another player used some funky dice. Thought it was pretty cool.

Unfortunately the company that makes those has eliminated some from the mix. The D10 12 and D20 have been replaced by conventional dice due to customer complaints.
H&M has the newer sets which just aren't as cool IMHO.
I remember writing a D30 based RPG when I first found a D30 for sale at Windsor Hobbies. I used to love that die.
Always wanted one of Kenzer's D24s as well. So great for figuring out a random time.

I picked up 20 sided double dice at an educational store, years ago. Having all kinds of ideas on how to use them. Of course when i brought them to a D&D game they never got used. You just tend to always use your favorite set i guess

I've always liked the double D10 for d100. Don't see much use in a double D20, plus it looks like the inner die is very hard to read. My favourite unconventional dice were completely round d6s. They were popular at the local gaming club though and my set of 6 were all gone within a couple of months

These are part of some collectable dice game. I've seen ads for it on Boardgamegeek but never actually clicked through to see more info. Anything with the word collectable in it scares me.

I wouldn't want to lose any of those thorn dice, because then I'd only find it again later when I was walking around barefoot in the middle of the night.

Very cool. I actually have one of the LED Ctit D20s. I love it. That steampunk D20 goes on my Xmas wish list for next year.

Has anyone got anything from Shapeway? That thorn set looks amazing, but its hard to tell if they're good quality from those images.

Would have been funnier if it was a D4 inside I have not ordered anything from Shapeway - though I think they have an etsy page and I'm pretty sure etsy offers buyer protection if you are worried about the product.
