I'll be playing a switch-hitting ranger.
Sounds like we're still short on Divine magic, though.

I'll be playing a stock Human monk.
Yeah it does sound like we are going to be a little short of the divine side of things. So healing potions it is then?

I'll stock up on potions, and we'll have the Druid grab a wand, maybe the Rogue as well (if we have one). I'm coming up with a backstory now, I'll email or post it.

Oh I didn't see this thread. I guess I can just copy/paste the email I sent you about my barbarian.
His name is Krum (pronounced like Kroom), he's a pretty standard barbarian: quick to anger, brutish and yet cunning and resourceful. He's from wherever the barbarian lands are in your campaign world. He's from a tribe of hill-folk; warriors and blacksmiths by trade mostly. Superstitious people who rely on well forged weapons and don't really trust magic users. Well known by his people, Krum is said to have been born on the day his father died in the battle, and, if you believe the stories let out a war cry in his very first breath. Krum was always bigger and faster than all the other boys and more than willing to fight to get his way. Krum was the best hunter in the village even at a young age. As he grew in size and in self-confidence, the others in his village began to fear the brutish Krum, especially those in power who saw him as a threat to their authority. At the age of 17 Krum fought in a battle against the northerners and made such a fierce display of courage, killing 11 men, that he was praised by his tribe as a hero. The tribal leaders seeing the danger to their base of power represented by Krum plotted to have him exiled, calling on ancient traditions that asks that potential heros travel to the civilized lands and make a name for themselves before returning to the tribe.
Not fully understanding the terms of his exile, Krum wandered from his homelands and went wherever the fates took him, trying to gain fame and fortune by the strength of his arm. Signing on as a mercenary, and then joining a band of thieves, Krum found success illusive, first when his entire mercenary company was wiped out with him as the sole survivor, then as his bandit troupe were hung one by one in the magistrate's square. Seeing the decadence in the world and the moral deficit brought on by corrupt governments and seeing the hypocracy of supposedly enlightened wizards, Krum became sickened with the civilized world and thought if he wanted to make a name for himself, what better place than the most corrupt and magically tainted place he can find, which happens to be [name of the kingdom we are playing in which is evil and taken over by the undead]. Then he can return to his tribe having proven himself, and take the chiefdom of his tribe for himself by force if needed.

My Monk's bio goes:
His name, as far as he knows, is Brother Restraint. He does not know his family and was raised in a simple monastery to the west. He grew up among his fellow monk brothers and has studied the monastic arts since he was barely older than a toddler.
On the day of his 28th birthday Restraint's life was turned around. His monastery was attacked by a group of bandits led by an ogre warlord. Following a pitched battle Restraint was the only monk left standing. He challenged the bandit leader to a duel for his life. The ogre was too much for him however and he was left for dead in the rubble of his monastery.
Awakening from his deathlike slumber Restraint immediately set out in search of the bandit lord. He followed the bandit to this land but has lost the trail.
